How do we cover games?

We cover games in many different ways often depending on the size and complexity of the game.

​

Our established format is a "series". This usually begins with a "Setup and Rules" video in which I run down all the elements of the game from components through to final scoring. This is followed by a full gameplay session released in an episodic daily format that is edited for excitement and production quality. The series is capped off with a Final Thoughts video, which is a roundtable review that draws examples from the session we just played.

What do we play?

We'll play anything we think is fun or interesting. We play all genres of games from big exciting miniatures games like Nemesis and Joan of Arc to complex euros like Trickerion and Spirit Island. Real-time and dexterity games very welcome!

How is the channel supported?

​

With the exception of the instructional rules videos all our content is entirely supported by our fans through Patreon! We don't produce this content on commission. This gives us an editorial freedom we thing is crucial. Rules videos are major productions and must be made primarily on commission.
